Yeimy has danced for many years, but dance became a big part of her life when she started working as an artist at Disneyland in Paris in 2008. There she danced everything from locking to various commercial dances. In 2012, she decided to move back to Sweden and here she fell for Salsa. From 2014 until now, Yeimy has danced in one of the most well-known salsa teams in Sweden. She has both performed and competed nationally and internationally. Yeimy was born in Colombia so Salsa has always been a part of her life but Salsa is made up of so many styles, cultural fusions and influences so there is so much to explore she says. In her classes, she wants to offer a bit of everything and also of herself. The goal with her classes is for students to feel comfortable in their own dance and get the tools to find what looks and feels good for them.
