Auditions will take place in Copenhagen on Aug the 18th and in Malmo on Aug the 25th. You can choose to do your audition in any of the two regardless of which team you're auditioning for.
The audition lasts about 1-1.5 hours. It will include a Mambo footwork and partnerwork rutine. This time is there for us to see that you meet the minimum requirements, but also for you to get an idea of what we do, how we work and if it's a team that fits your needs and expectations. We will dedicate time for Q&A regarding how the team works.
We are looking for dancers who can have a strong expression and presence on stage, but our biggest requirement is dedication and hard work. As the old saying goes: Hard work beats talent every time that talent doesn’t work hard.

Technique training:
Beyond salsa - technical dance training 1h
Salsa on2 Level 4 1h+ level 3 1h depending on previous salsa training.
Choreotraining: As a team member you are welcome to choose one or two choreos. You can choose to combine the mixteam with any of the two shines teams but due to scheduling you are not able to take both shines teams. (unless you travel to the other city)

Total 4 hours.
As a team member you also get a full pass to take all Mambo vikings classes including all levels of salsa on2 and Pilates, giving you the opportunity to train up to 8h a week without extra cost.

During the fall, we focus on training technique and skills alongside of learning the choreos. The spring is when we start performing them. Premieres are planned from middle of March. The team performs both in local events and at international salsa festivals.
