Salsa On2 - level 2 (intermediate)

Each level is consistent of two full courses (one year).
During this level, you will get a deeper understanding of the music of salsa and learn how to play with the musicality. You will learn how play with variations of the things you learned in level one as well as learn more difficult techniques.
This level is perfect if you have danced a lot of salsa on 1 (cuban or LA style) and want to start your journey with On2 salsa
We will rotate partners during class so you don’t have to sign up with a partner. If you sign up with a partner and you don’t want to change couples, just let us now and we will just rotate the others.

Each level is consistent of two full courses (one year).
This is where you learn the basics of all the advanced techniques like multiple turns, speed-up turns, more advanced copa variations, hand-toss as well as more challenging footwork techniques.
Here is also where we dive into the basics of different dances that will enrich your salsa such as pachanga, swing, rumba, pilon and afro-cuban.
This class is great to combine with our level 4. It will give you a chance to understand the mechanics of and techniques that level 4 builds upon.
This level requires a solid understanding of salsa on2 timing.
We will rotate partners during class so you don’t have to sign up with a partner. If you sign up with a partner and you don’t want to change couples, just let us now and we will just rotate the others.

This is a dance class focused on technique. Exercises and combinations are inspired by different dance styles such as Ballet, Jazz and Contemporary. You will work on your turns, isolations, finding your center, body movements and discover different qualities that will make your dance more colorful and let you go beyond your dance as you know it.
This class is great to combine with any salsa class from level 2 and up or our pilates class.

As social dancers we often forget to strengthen and stretch the muscles we need specifically for dancing. This class is for you who want to help your body to get stronger and flexible as well as improve your posture and mobility. The exercises are based on the methods of pilates but are adapted to further meet the needs of a dancing body.

If the registration is withdrawn less than one week before the course starts, half the course fee will be charged.
Once the course has started, you have agreed to waive your right of withdrawal. If you cancel the course once it has started, you will be required to pay the full course fee.

If you cannot participate to classes due to illness or medical emergency (medical certificate is needed) you can be refunded the unused part of the course.
A copy of a medical certificate of the injury or illness must be submitted to info@mambovikings.com before receiving any refund.

Mambo Vikings reserve the right to cancel a course or workshop should there be insufficient enrollments. In case of illness or unavailability of the teacher, a qualified substitute teacher might hold the workshop, or the workshop fee will be refunded.
